Too many books - too much fanfiction - too little time

Din for evigt (Black Dagger Broderskabet, #2) - J.R. Ward Review of the Danish version of [b:Lover Eternal|35729|Lover Eternal (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #2)|J.R. Ward|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1300845974s/35729.jpg|1593685]

This book [Din For Evigt] is the 2nd book in the BDB series, it’s Rhages story, and its amazing, it really is. Even the second time around, and even in Danish! (Which is a big surprise!)

I can't help but compare the Danish version to the original, and some of the translations are just really weird. But since this is the 2nd book, I was prepared and didn’t roll my eyes.. as much..

Except for when Layla was mentioned..

But that’s a whole other story for a whole other day..

This book is about Rhage and Mary and the beast, and I’m really ashamed of how much I had forgotten about their story.. Granted, its been years since I’ve read it, but still.. Ashamed!

The first book in the series [b:Vampyrkongen|13131273|Vampyrkongen (Black Dagger Broderskabet, #1)|J.R. Ward|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1324491440s/13131273.jpg|2158128] definitely had that “first book in a series” syndrome, and I think this 2nd book really takes the series to a new level, in storyline but definitely also in writing and just generel flow of words. Everything just works so much better in this book.

Even in Danish.

Rhage and Mary’s story is great. Its interesting, its sad, its deep, its funny, its touching and just amazing.

If you liked book 1 you will love book 2, and you will be hooked.

I will always recommend reading a book in its original language, so if you have the opportunity, you should definitely read the English version, but I have to say, this Danish version? Even with all the stupid translations (I mean, “eliminators” Really? WHY?!) its still pretty damn good.

I gave the original 5 stars and I will definitely give this version just as many!
