Too many books - too much fanfiction - too little time

Dark Lover - J.R. Ward

(Edit Oct. 2012 - added Danish review at the end)

Aug. 2010.

I really liked it.. I've read a lot of vampire-love books by now, and I was surprised about how quickly Beth accepted the whole 'vampire' thing. Usually they give up a little more fight, before falling back into those strong arms.. ;) But I really liked her and Wrath.. They kinda felt perfect together, and how sweet was it when he began to cry? Aww.. Poor baby..

Now, I'm excited to see what happens with Rhage in the next one..

Oct. 2012

I read the Danish version Vampyrkongen in October 2012, and will give a short review of it..

First of all.. I can’t believe how many things I had forgotten about this first book in the series..

Anyway. So the Danish version.. It’s very strange reading it in Danish, and I would definitely recommend reading the original, because the “toughness” of the vampires lacks a bit in the Danish version, in my opinion. Wrath actually used the Danish version of “Oh, darn it!” o_O

This is a great series though, so no amount of weird Danish translation (Why translate “Boo” to “Bisse”? WHY???!!!) can ruin it too much.
Had I read this for the first time, I would probably have rated it 3 out of 5 stars.
