This is a bittersweet story of a Mom and her 15/16 year old daughter – written through notes on their refrigerator door.
I love epistolary books, and so I couldn’t help myself when I saw this one.
While reading this though, I couldn’t help but think: Why don’t you guys put down the pen and try to actually talk
for a change? But alas.. The author would have had to change the title if they did, I guess.
It’s a fast read and… Yeah, well. I don’t really know what else. You’ll be left with the feeling of wanting to call you Mom after finishing it. Not for any particular reason – just to say “Hi Mom.. How are you doing?”
That's what it does, I think..
And now you'll have to excuse me while I go call my Mom.
